• Implemented company's first company paid parental leave, NY paid family leave and other state paid leaves which included system integration and plan additions with third party disability and leave carrier, new coding through timekeeping and payroll systems.
• Implemented a daily inbound/outbound HRIS file to the disability vendor to maintain more accurate headcounts, reporting and efficiencies

Responsible for the support of ongoing administration of the company's health and welfare plans for large retail company (23K employees US, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Canada)

Services included leave of absence project management, employee relations, training, process development, benefit department's global benefit communication plans, annual enrollment, formal dependent audits and benefits administration.

• Collaborated with senior benefits manager, legal department and outside counsel to stay informed on current federal and state benefit and leave programs and ensure employee communications for all were compliant.
• Implemented company's leave of absence automated lettering system. Trained and advised the leave team on the product and reporting capabilities.
• Co-lead and designed company's Mexican and Puerto Rican benefits, including vender and consultant selections, implementation, employee communications and trained supporting human resources.
