Summary

Dynamic nurse educator with a proven track record at Providence and as an educator implementing the Providence Clinical Academy programs. I was honored to be part of the Providence education team when the Clinical Academy was conceived and was the first educator to implement academy classes at Providence St. Mary Medical Center using both in-person and virtually facilitated learning.

While senior educator there, I led the design, development and implementation of multiple Nurse Residency and Fellowship curricula including Critical Care, Medical-Surgical, Core curriculum, Preceptor, Charge Nurse and simulation-based training.

With over nineteen years of combined experience in critical care, nursing education, precepting, and curriculum development, I offer a heart of passion for the nursing profession and a career dedicated to the enrichment and cultivation of new nurses.

Recognized for innovative and engaging curriculum, and a constant drive for improvement, I bring a depth of experience not only in instructional design support but also creation and implementation of skills based learning , simulation, and development and upkeep of platforms such as Moodle and Sharepoint.

Known for flexibility and reliability and in addition to my extensive educator experience, I offer critical care expertise including years as an ACLS instructor as well as CCRN certification.
