• Design Class-A surface for vehicle exterior body and interior panels.
• Design/detail working layouts and master drawings of automotive vehicle components, assemblies and systems.
• Prepare Microsoft Word, Excel, and/or PowerPoint documents and presentations and also utilizing Vis Mockup.
• Produce designs that employ a wide variety of materials and manufacturing processes including injection molding, thermoforming, machining, and sheet metal fabrication.
• Analyze data to develop new designs for front-end modules and related components for integrated cooling systems.
• Provide understanding to customers/suppliers to help communicate the technical aspects of design requirements and preferred practices.
• Alter and modify design in order to obtain specified functionality, and quality in a timely manner.
• Provide direction to CAD users confronted with unique problems that require advanced modeling methods.
• Lead design reviews, and contribute with CAD support and communicate effectively with team members.
