  • I have been working remotely for this employer since March 18, 2020. In this position, I am relied upon for the following responsibilities: ● Daily customer contact in person and by phone to resolve the balance dues and/or non-filed periods. Answer any and all tax questions or concerns they may have. ● Conducts collection and tax discovery tasks for individuals and corporations, fiduciaries, sales, retailers' and consumers' use, withholding, franchise, vehicle rental, and liquor taxes, collection account management, and customer contact in a professional and decisive manner. Research and analyze worklist cases, and prepare complex account breakdowns. Assist the Collections Call Center with inbound calls. ● Process business closure requests, requests for waiver of penalty, account adjustments, reversals, abatements, and/or assessments. Establish payment plans based on agency guidelines, and obtain the customer's financial information in an understanding manner that is not intrusive. ● Provides informal customer education and ensures needs are satisfied. A good understanding of all the tax types, statutes, policies, and regulations by the Department. I have great attention to detail and customer service skills.
