Walking, traveling, reading, beauty

I am a life-long learner and have a deep love for traveling. I have traveled to Anaheim, CA numerous times. The last time I traveled to California was as a chaperone for a middle-school orchestra group who was invited to perform at Disneyland Park. I have also visited Canada, Japan, Nevada, Oregon, and the other Hawaiian Islands such as Maui, Kauai, and Hawaii. In my spare time, I love to read about local, national, and world current events, as well as articles about maintaining one’s health, beauty, anti-aging, and pets. Being that I was born and raised in Hawaii, I have been exposed to the Aloha Spirit throughout my lifetime and extend it to all cultures. It was in my classroom as an elementary school educator that I was able to promote cultural acceptance, respect, empathy to others, responsibility or ownership, and diversity to my first-graders, all qualities which are highly significant to developing a person’s character.
