• Responsible for efficient and effective collection of plasma from donors by performing venipuncture, monitoring pheresis process and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Performs all aspects of pheresis procedure and plasma collection, including donor set-up, donor monitoring and donor disconnect
• Collecting blood specimen.
• Ability to follow state standard practices, processes, and procedures in sequence.
• Ability to organize and prioritize job duties and assigned tasks for completion within expected timeframes.

• Obtained client medical history, medication information, symptoms, and allergies.
• Directed patients to exam rooms, fielded questions, and prepared for physician examinations.
• Knowledge of clinical protocols for vital signs.
• Knowledge of normal values for vital signs (Blood Pressure, Pulse, Respirations, Temperature)
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) and electronic health record (EHR).
• Basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

• Knowledge of maintaining sterile environment including proper cleaning procedures and various equipment.
• Ability to operate of basic environmental service equipment including mechanical floor cleaners, buffers, vacuums, washers, dryers and more.
