Summary

I am a registered nurse with 29 years of experience in a variety of fields from direct patient care to nursing management. I am currently a clinical nurse manager at Fresenius Medical Care, Ironton dialysis. I have been here for eight years, first as a staff nurse, and for the past five years as a Clinical Nurse Manager of the Portsmouth location and for the past four years at the Ironton, Ohio location. My experience spans across behavioral health in a prison, cardiac step down, orthopedic trauma and joint replacement, public health, infection control/infectious diseases and outpatient chronic dialysis. I have worked as a staff nurse, a charge nurse and a nurse manager. I love being able to make a difference in someone's life as well as comfort them when patient's make the decision to not move forward with care. I bring many skills with me that I have acquired over the years and am an active listener with a direct communication style and a compassionate, non-judgemental approach to build patients trust. I feel I can be an asset to any team I am assigned to. I am easy to get along with and have no problem working in a group or individually, and have no issue working independently or supervised.
