• Provide staffing relief for West Central Georgia Regional Hospital. Forensic mental health facility located in Columbus Ga.
• Medication nurse; Prepare medications, administer medications, provide emergency mental health injections for individuals in crisis. Other duties as assigned.

• Transferred to Rutledge State Prison in 2018 from Georgia diagnostic and classification prison, currently work via Wellpath.
• Main positions held at GDCP was, Intake nurse, infection control nurse. Provided relief in other areas, medication nurse, treatment room which was, emergency area for acute medical situation and infirmary which housed inmates with chronic conditions.

• Provided in home nursing evaluation for mentally challenged clients residing in personal care homes throughout Georgia. Performed detailed documentation under guidance of RN . Assessing vital signs, insuring that medications are being ordered by home care provider and that there were no incidents of behavioral problems.

• Planned and implemented curriculum for nursing aid class. Prepared and administered tests per State of Georgia guide lines. Guided students through multiple hands on activities. Supervised students performing task learned in class at clinical site. At end of course students were tested by Ga board representative in written and clinical skills to receive certification.

• Worked on medical surgical floor caring for wide range of patients arriving to unit after surgeries; bariatric, orthopedics, appendectomies, renal, wound dehiscing surgeries. Also cared for patients with chronic care problems; gastric conditions, copd, chronic wound infections and more.
• Circulated assigned floor to measure and record patients' fluid and food levels, implementing measures to promote healthy intake and output as necessary.
• Increased nursing team cohesiveness through active participation in staff meetings and open communication with colleagues.

Provided care to elderly residents on sub-acute unit. Worked cooperatively with physicians and medical staff to provide quality care. Administered medications, monitored conditions, responded to emergency situations while caring for twenty or more residents. Supervised care provided by nursing assistants.

• Worked as nursing assistant and certified nursing assistant until 1990. After receiving LPN license worked as skin care treatment nurse. Promoted to charge nurse on skilled unit where I administered medications and provided care for residents on this unit of twenty or more residents. Insuring quality care for residents, working with physicians and other specialties in facility. Supervision of care provided by nursing assistants. Also worked as house supervisor to insure adequate staffing for shift in which I was assigned.
