• Responsible for testing, Quality Control, troubleshooting in Blood Bank, Chemistry, Micro and some serology, urinalysis, coagulation and hematology. Lead Techs and lab assistants in day to day activities and problem solve as needed. Direct running of clinic samples and resolve any issues.

• Traveled the State of Arkansas inspecting local health units for CLIA compliance. Performed education and some training with Lab employees to assure testing was performed properly. Created and edited lots of reports for supervisor review. In depth knowledge of CLIA and regulatory issues.

• Lead Technologist on evenings, later moved to days. Worked core lab with some micro. Resolved problems and troubleshooting mostly. Lots of QC and comparison studies , CAP surveys for chemistry.
• The gap in work dates is due to the death of my husband . I took several months to regroup and recover.

• Night shift Tech mostly on newborn bench some regular chemistry. QC , CAP surveys testing mostly. Some problem solving with samples.

• Weekend shifts of 16 hours in core lab including blood bank and some micro. QC and testing mostly. Kept specimen turn around times within parameters.

• First job out of school. Spent all of my time perfecting new skills. Focus was on testing and quality control. Learned point of care testing and all core lab including blood bank.
