I've worked in a variety of therapeutic settings, including internships and full-time positions in sports medicine, physical therapy, and psychiatric rehabilitation institutions. As an exercise professional, you are responsible for recording many elements of patient treatment. This involves developing workout regimens that are specific to each person's requirements and objectives. In addition, a variety of exercise and rehabilitation equipment is used to help in the restoration process. My knowledge also includes a variety of approaches for increasing mobility and rehabilitative exercises to correct improper technique and movement. I've worked in a fast-paced movement clinic, "The Movement Lab," that has required me to split caseloads of 2 of 4 patients with physical therapists and other health care professionals. Providing a comprehensive variety of healthcare choices and treatment approaches to our respected colleagues in the healthcare profession, I am now pursuing a Master of Science in Sports Performance and Conditioning at Southern Utah University, as well as working toward certification as a NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist. My goal is to sharpen my emphasis on physical therapy after completing my master's degree in sports conditioning and performance. With the goal of completing medical school one day and opening my own physical therapy practice, as I go through this profession as a PT aid, I strive to look for advice and assistance in the modalities of physical therapy.
