Support an assigned roster of adult students from orientation through graduation with their college degree. Program Mentors work with students to understand their why on returning to school and their goals for completing their degree. Through out expertise in their programs and courses, we customize our support to each individual student to meet them where they are now and provide guidance and resources to reach their goals for program completion. Through weekly communication, we are able to help students overcome obstacles when needed and achieve success. Currently, I support students in Marketing undergrad and Master programs and have supported students in all undergrad business programs in previous years before specialization.

• Managed daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the store, maintaining a clean, safe environment for customers and employees.
• Managed inventory control, cash control, and store opening and closing procedures.
• Addressed customer complaints promptly and professionally, resolving issues to maintain positive relationships with clientele.
• Managed store employees successfully in fast-paced environment through proactive communication and positive feedback.

Obtained Producers Insurance License in state of Illinois to sell life insurance products to meet customer needs.

• Hired in as a member of the management team to grand open the Wal-Mart Supercenter in 1996.
• Over the next 10 1/2 years, held 5 salaried positions with responsibilities for store staffing, scheduling, managing employees, merchandising and executing the company operating plans.
• Helped grand open 14 supercenters in the midwest during my time with Wal-Mart.
