• Supervised team of dozens staff members.
• Author of “Program Statement 1600.09 and 1600.10; Occupational Safety Environmental Compliance, and Fire Protection for the Federal Bureau of Prisons(BOP)” published in 2010 and again in 2015.
• Authored Environmental Management Systems (EMS) based on executive order 13148 "Greening the Through Leadership in Environmental Management" in 2000. These templates were distributed to all FBOP and some DOJ members for national implementation.
• Responsible for writing national contracts for open bids to successfully green all chemical lines used at each institution.
• Collaborating with teams of engineers, I developed sustainability projects for energy reduction throughout the BOP. Upon implementation of the EMS, I audited every federal prison and wrote regulatory findings reports. In sharing common findings of all institutions, within 10 years , the FBOP became significantly more compliant with OSHA regulations, EPA laws, and Fire Protection codes.
