My duties at SteegerUSA include leading a mechanical department to building quality machines for customers around the world. We use precise tolerance to insure the best result for the customers. I approve time off and conduct performance reviews which includes goal settings for each team member. I inspect and perform quality checks on each machine and sub assembly build before being sent down the line into the QC department. I Make sure we are supplied with nuts, bolts, and hardware to get the job done. I also attended 2 weekly meetings to discuss production on each machine that the customers ordered.

At Reddy Ice I delivered quality ice to a large number well-known franchises (Wal-Mart, Food Lion, Dollar General) and local gas stations, etc in the upstate of South Carolina and Western North Carolina and into the busy cities. Driving through busy towns in a Class B straight truck, I was in charge of training new drivers on proper highway driving skills and how to do it in a safe manner. I used handheld devices to print invoices for customers. I also answered customer questions and concerns. I would assign routes to other drivers and schedule each driver based on the drivers' strengths.
