I worked for 48 years in a Lynn Ma. Dairy that was named West Lynn Creamery that rapidly grew to be one of the largest in New England. I grew with it and was sent to many training courses from technical machinery installations to Ice Cream and Culture products production at Penn St College.

My back ground grew to include juice products as co-packing for Minute Maid and Ocean Spray products.

We were bought out by Dean Foods and the name changed to Garelick Farms

I was temporarily assigned to the Manufacturing department making Ice Cream and Cultured because the manager became sick and I stayed there for just under10 years when Dean Foods bought Friendly's ice cream and a cheese plant in NY

I returned to the main plant to the Extended Shelf-life or Ultra - High Temperature Department until the plant sanitarian retired and I took over that position working directly for Quality Assurance overseeing the cleaning of the plant all the equipment, records keeping and all audits and inspections until they closed the plant when Dean Foods went bankrupt.
