Public education is currently optimized for a single type of learner—the textbook memorizer. I am a builder who believes that undergraduate education is fundamentally broken when it treats core subjects like Math, English, and Science as abstract hurdles rather than functional tools.
With 15 years in the STEM trenches and a Master’s in Leadership and Emerging Technologies, I have dedicated my career to Learning Engineering: the art of teaching rigorous concepts through direct application. Whether I am architecting game logic in Godot, troubleshooting mechanical failures in VEX Robotics, or executing structural 'sweat equity' on a custom residential build, I believe mastery is proven by what a student can build, not what they can recite. I am seeking to join Outsmart to help engineer an undergraduate model that replaces passive 'general' requirements with an agile, career-integrated curriculum designed for the AI era.
