-Perform Inspections of Elevators and Related Equipment; Existing, New and Altered Installations.

-Work with Contractors, Owners and Building Managers to administer and interpret code and standards.

-Repair, remove and install various types of vertical transportation equipment.

-Install new elevators

-Install/service special use rack and pinion elevator.

-Install material lifts.

-Install/service wheel chair lifts.

-Perform various elevator repairs (power units, hoist rope replacement, starters, valves, door detector, etc.)

-Perform Category 1 and Category 5 tests.

-Removal of escalators.

-Assist in installing escalators.

-Drill new jack holes, repair existing jack holes.

-Replace single bottom cylinders.

-Abandon jack holes per Minnesota Department of Health specifications.

-Provide assistance to internal personnel (sales and field) as it relates to elevator code

-Provided excellent service and attention to customers when face-to-face or through phone conversations.

Managed five crews performing various elevator repairs and upgrades.

Was a member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local #49 from 1995-2004. In 2004 Midwest Elevator and Drilling joined International Union of Elevator Constructors Local #9.
