Branch Manager Sales Person I overseen the daily operations of a team of recruiters working at a staffing agency. I created long-term strategies for the organization, and was responsible for hiring, training, and guiding a team of recruiters. I set staffing targets and then assist the staff in achieving them.

I was responsible for going out and getting the clients and filling the orders as needed. It was a small office and no one had a set job description. Only two people in office so we did want ever had to be done to keep clients happy. Lincolnton experienced many plant closing that really hurt the temp business. In late March corporate decided to close the branch.

I was the owner of Safari Sun & Color Me Tan Tanning Salons. One in Mt. Holly N.C. and the other in Belmont N.C. for six years. Color Me Tan was an existing business I purchased , but Safari Sun I started from ground up. It was a great business, but very seasonal. Enjoyed the experience of being a business owner very much, and was successful.

I was responsible for the Sara Lee, Gaston Skills, and Wix accounts. Adecco had 25-300 employees at each of these different plants. My responsibilities were to manage these people and help keep production at the highest level possible. I worked very closely with the Management ( Plant Manager & Human Resources Manager ).

I started with U S Leisure in 1987 as a floor lead person. The business had been open for only about 90 days. I was promoted to third shift supervisor, and held this position for several years. While at U S Leisure I held many different positions, Warehouse Manager, Q.C. Manager and my final that I'm the most proud of was Operations Manager. I was responsible for managing the operations of this large plant. There would be times we had over 400 employees at peak season. While there I came up with a procedure that saved operations over 15% in labor in one year, and help us track dollars spent to produce finished goods. I was with this company through over 6 different buyouts. U S Leisure gave me experience that I feel can help me to help your company grow greatly.
