Manage mine operations load/ haul, drill & blast activities to safely meet or exceed targeted goals. Interact with all departments to plan and implement daily/weekly/monthly planned goals for production,process and maintenance requirements.

• Oversee department headcount , work with Human Resources to review and plan required manpower needs.
• Promote and encourage all Continuous Improvement initiatives.

• Oversee Drill & Blast department, promote a safe work environment while ensuring high levels of productivity and progression. Closely monitor drill penetration rates, drill bit efficiency and produce favorable total drill cost.
• Monitor Blast design and product usage to attain desired fragmentation with controlled movement to prevent ore dilution.
• Manage and order all drill consumables
• Manage and order all blast product.
• Monitor all powder magazine, ANFO/Emulsion silos for compliance to state and federal requirements.
