  • Bolt up assembly of piping up to 32" in diameter, cutting and threading pipe, and tube bending, hydro testing as well as wiring of components and instrumentation such as analog and digital gauges, PLC's, transformers, power conditioners, touch screens, flow meters both analog and digital, ball valves, butterfly valves, geared valves, filtration devices, running both flexible and rigid conduit, working with mechanical and electrical schematics
  • Started working in a crew, promoted to Quality Assurance
  • QA duties were to inspect the pump skid and its documentation and verify it was built with all the options the customer ordered, and correctly assembled
  • Also had to inspect that the pumps were built to the correct depth, and that the impellers were the correct size and machined with the correct pitch per order by taking measurements
  • Company purchased by ITT Industries, and through a restructuring the Quality Department was eliminated
  • I was then made a crew leader
  • I have had to work closely with sales and engineering
  • I was on the safety committee and a fork lift and loader operator
