Media and Entertainment team

• Responsible for helping customers purchase, design, and build next generation media networks including SMPTE 2110 broadcast video and amusement park ride and show networks.

Sports and Entertainment Solutions Group

• Solution Manager of the Connected Stadium and Connected Stadium Wi-Fi solutions.
• These solutions are the end-to-end network designs including multicast for broadcast video distribution and high-density Wi-Fi coverage used in Sports and Entertainment venues.
• Responsibilities included defining the design and deployment best practices, authoring technical design guides and marketing documentation, building and managing the solution test lab, performing end-to-end solution testing, consulting with customers and partners on network design, performing solution training to customers, Cisco engineers and partners.
• Built and managed the Sports & Entertainment solution lab used for software development, solution validation and customer demonstrations.
• Also acted as the Product Manager for the media players responsible for video and graphic content display of the Cisco StadiumVision digital signage solution.

Access Routing Technology Group

• Managed the development of an iTunes-like application platform for, 's Small Business solution offering where users could manage Cisco's small business product portfolio and download new applications as they were developed for the solution from an online portal.
• Acted as the product owner and led a small team of software developers building the equipment discovery application for managing the portfolio and framework for an online application download interface.

Linksys One - Small Business Solutions Group

Technical Leader

• One of the founding leaders of a Cisco start-up that created a "Hosted Small Business Solution" managed service which included a cloud- centric management portal for managing the SMB customer's on premise voice and data infrastructure.

Product Manager

• Managed projects for three Linksys One routers and four switches.
• This included driving a cross-functional team of Linksys software development and Product Marketing teams, 3rd party software vendors, and the associated product ODM.
• Responsible for leading technical decisions required on customer premise equipment design and its interaction with the Linksys One hosted system.
• This included authoring system/software functional specifications, reviewing/editing 3rd party statements of work and test plans, leading technical design reviews and providing formal acceptance of 3rd party software deliverables.

Enterprise Solutions Engineering

• Responsible for the total system level solution definition including joint engineering architectural definitions, partner solutions and identification of new business development.
• Drive joint system level marketing plans with across Business Unit PM Organizations.
• Projects worked include Voice, Video over VPN for both Branch and Teleworker offices and is now the basis of Cisco's internal Teleworker service and Full Service Branch initiative that helped define the role of the Cisco Integrated Services Router product line.
• Represented Cisco externally at industry conferences and marketing events which included authoring presentations and whitepapers, presenting at internal Cisco meetings (e.g., SE Virtual Team meetings & SE TV) and external customer venues (e.g., Networkers).

Network Service Provider Team

• Develop end-to-end network solutions and provide consulting services for Service Providers, which include CLECs, ISPs, IXCs, as well as, new emerging carriers.
• Solutions include complex multi-service designs integrating voice, video and data services over IP, ATM, Cable, DSL and wireless technologies.
• Perform in-depth and high-level technical solution presentations and training for customers, partners, and prospects.
• Work with account managers to identify and qualify sales opportunities and develop strategic sales plans and solution proposals.
• Act as a mentor and technical leader for eight systems engineers (CCIEs) within the Florida region.
• Act as project leader on large projects, defining customer requirements and product sets, and communicating requirements with internal business units to ensure successful solution implementation.

Communication System Design

• Design Design local and wide area networks for the Kennedy Space Center.
• Prepare engineering cost assessments including material, labor, operations and maintenance costs.
• Develop system specifications for equipment procurement and perform acceptance testing.
• Act as lead engineer for Network and Transmission department.
• Provide five engineers technical guidance and project review.
• Project leader for $900 thousand Shuttle Operations Data network upgrade.
• Designed $1.5 million T-carrier network for the Kennedy Space Center.
• Awarded Commendation of Engineering Excellence for the Kennedy Space Center T-carrier Network.
• Other design work performed outside my day-to-day responsibilities include $400 thousand voice and telemetry data communication network on Cape Canaveral Air Station and a $500 thousand network on Vandenberg Air Force Base.

Space Shuttle Operations

• Guidance and Navigation Systems Responsible for the end-to-end testing of the Space Shuttle guidance and navigation systems in preparation for launch.
• Systems included the Star Trackers, Gyroscopes, and Guidance computers.
