Performs a wide range of semi-skilled and skilled work, independently or as a member of a crew related to operating and maintaining all aspects of the transmission and underground storage system.

Performs a wide range of planning and design activities for pipeline systems. Works independently or partners with others on the analysis, design, construction, accounting, and budgeting of medium and high-pressure gas pipeline systems. This includes planning and developing design drawings, determining material requirements, and coordinating permit activities. Identifies opportunities for additional gas end uses.

Performs a wide range of skilled work and provides work direction associated with the operation, maintenance, and construction of the gas distribution system, including leakage repair, Cathodic protection installations and underground repair, pipe joining and welding, and installation, operation, and maintenance of regulator stations and pressure control equipment.

Performs a range of independent skilled field activities, completing locate and mark orders, conducting job observation, performs large industrial MSA work.

Performs a wide range of physical and semi‐skilled work associated with the operation, maintenance, and construction of the gas distribution system under the direction of higher level construction personnel. Works independently on some assignments performing field service work and leak surveys.
