Corporate Account Analysis

• Serve as the application technical lead on a mainframe system responsible for gathering and analyzing customer billing information to generate monthly statements and invoices.

• Provide support and troubleshooting assistance for application users and participate in 24/7 on-call rotation.

• Deployed vendor (FIS) software updates and patches to ensure application security and functionality.

• Analyze user requirements to develop software solutions and created technical specifications for a range of projects within our application and those which interface with other bank partners.

• Developed, tested, debugged, implemented, and documented software programs using: JCL, COBOL and DB2. Tune queries and code for performance efficiencies.

• Lead developer on multiple bank acquisitions (National City & BBVA). Created several conversion programs to map customer data to the CAA application. Implementation was completed on a very aggressive timeline with no disruption of service to the new client.

• Participated in Mainframe/Distributed Failover and Disaster Recovery exercises as part of ongoing business resiliency.

Software Engineer 07/2001-03/2011

PINACLE Customer Portal

• Work on Corporate online customer portal, specifically the ACH module processing Tax payments and Payroll.

• Designed, developed, and implemented a customer transmission application to replace an obsolete vendor product. Sent data to the mainframe where it was loaded into a VSAM file system. Coded the necessary COBOL programs to format customer data into BAI specification, process billing, perform master file maintenance (purge and reorg) and generate end user reporting.

• Part of a team to build a real-time account transfers application. Responsible for developing a CICS interface between various bank applications to process the transfer requests. Performed ETL process to migrate customer data from old batch application to the new Oracle database.

• Led conversion efforts for several bank acquisitions. Primary focus was migrating customer data (accounts, operators, entitlements, services) from source to corresponding target applications (Mainframe and Oracle) using Toad, PL/SQL, SQL*Plus and SQL*Loader.

Systems Analyst 02/1998-07/2001

ACH (PEP+) Application

• Application DBA responsible for vendor and in-house developed DB2 databases. Created utility jobs to perform daily backups for recovery.

• Project lead for development efforts primarily working with COBOL, CICS and DB2.

• Installed vendor (Check Free) releases and patches to maintain current software levels.

• Provide on call support for this high visibility and critical application.
