Collect biological samples and data from commercial fishing vessels operating in the Hawaii Western Central Pacific Tuna and Swordfish fisheries. Embedded with vessel- tasked with biological sampling according to program protocols, biological data collection and management. Protected species monitoring remediation and sampling.

Surveyed catch aboard commercial fishing vessels during active commercial fishing operations as a contract employee to the Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission (PSMFC).

Served in all facets of field sampling and data collection for the West Coast Groundfish Observer program, and later for both Catch shares and Non catch shares programs in California, Washington and Oregon.

• Noncatchshares Observer Morro Bay, CA 2011-2012  Sampled primarily on small open access boats in live fisheries on the central southern California coast
• Catchshares Observer - Astoria, OR 2013-2014 Sampled large vessels in all sectors of the catch shares fishery in Oregon and Washington.
• Noncatchshares Observer- Astoria OR 2015 Sampling open access and artisinal fisheries operating out of Astoria and nearby ports.
