  • Lead and approve all quote activities for all customers including Ford, Chrysler, GM, VW, Honda and Toyota. Increased SKD sales from 200 million to 500 million in 5 years.
  • Responsible for all tooling and automation sourcing for all 7 manufacturing locations, develop LCC Tooling supply base in China, Korea, Taiwan and India
  • Program management lead for all customers, responsible for overall timing and program deliverables
  • Developed global program management sourcing strategy to support new business awards.
  • Lead Honda guest design engineer in both Japan and US, lead the development of all SKD products for manufacturability, cost and product design for both the MDX and Civic platforms.
  • Team leader for the Honda “Red-Pen” VA-VE cost and weight savings activity for 2011 model year. Formulate and present to customers for final design implementation.
  • Provided customer liaison and technical sales support for VW, G.M., Ford and Honda for all customers. This included sales, quality, tooling, and weld automation presentations.
  • Develop and implemented “lean” manufacturing process strategy for all plant locations.
  • Team leader for manufacturing products and process development of all chassis and suspension products - black box designs.
  • Team member in developing V.W., Honda and Toyota as new customers to SKD.
  • Develop SKD standardized tooling costing quote model for both Toyota and Honda.
  • Responsible for the update and implementation of corporate “Lean” low cost tooling standards.
  • Develop strategic roll forming and hot stamping partners to support SKD long term business plan.
  • Develop and approve global supplier chain - China, Korea, India, Taiwan, Spain, Argentina for tooling and purchased parts including castings, forgings, tubing and machined components.
