  • The Service Desk Tech shall perform Tier 2 services by working directly with the Service Desk and staff to ensure that service levels are achieved. The hours of operations are 24 hrs./7 days a week. Shift Flexibility is a must. The qualified candidate will perform the following:

  • Originally hired by Addecco temp agency as a Warehouse Materials Supervisor to serve as the primary person responsible for ensuring warehouse conditions are safe, organized and clean at all times. After 3 months I was hired on permanent with SmallHD as the Warehouse Materials Supervisor. As a Materials Supervisor I did coordinate the day-to-day activities of warehouse team to ensure that goods are moved, handled, and stored safely, correctly, and in accordance with established schedules and inventory practices.
  • After a year with SmallHD I was offered an opportunity to transition into the monitor assembly department (where after a year a worked myself up to Lead assembly technician). I prepared work stations so they are conducive with monitor production efficiency and effective work practices. Assemble parts or components to build a new product. Contribute in fitting and building of various parts to ensure smooth process of component amalgamation. Perform regular test and inspection procedures to ensure that the product is formed in accordance with specifications. Complete mid-high level assemblies and train new employees. Work with production management on delegating daily tasks and work as a line lead.

The promotion took me to a newly built Fedex warehouse working as the OTP Central Control Operator. Starting my shift, I would be in meetings to discuss how much freight and employees were needed for the night, immediately after words I physically set the building up for my shift. Working in conjuncture with management, I would track Total Labor Hours, lane full percentages, total re-handles, IC percentages, smalls packages, total manning per shift and employees would be reassigned as needed. I performed several administrator responsibilities along with emails to Senior Managers and the district. While in CC I also monitored employees’ times and absences. By the end of my shift I would leave CC and help all the managers finish up their night. Finally, I would send all recap emails to my manager, the sort manager, senior manager and several district staff.

  • In the Product Reviews department on the Lenovo campus, my role became defined as a shipping and receiving supervisor. Once I started with Lenovo I felt it necessary to have a searchable inventory database, spoke with my Director and the software engineer and created a searchable inventory system as well as a physical inventory locations. My job was to receive all inventory, verify/ complete/ manage all paperwork, place systems where they need to go. I completed monthly inventory verifications. Performed loan agreement/ verifications of dates/ product/s agreed upon by my department and other Lenovo departments. I also corrected any out of date loan agreements. When I found myself with time, I worked with the testing technicians and became proficient in testing various computers as well as replacing hardware devices for said computers. I performed monthly inventory verification/ correction.
