  • If I could make a living staring at the sky, I wouldn't have this resume. My fascination with astronomy came from family gatherings where we would watch UFO documentaries and talk about all of the "what ifs" of the universe. My grandfather had a high powered telescope that I would bring to the beaches of Long Island with friends. We would set sights on the planets and sit around the fire in astonishment and have the same types of conversations that I remember listening to as a kid.
  • No, The Last of Us did not spark my interest in Mycology. My fascination with the largest living organisms on the planet was sparked in 2005 when I was made aware of the neural networks that live everywhere, allow for psychological healing, and have physiological healing properties that remain a mystery to the scientific community to this day.
