The main duty of this position was to establish good working relationships between the customer and the dealership. This was accomplished by working directly with internal members of the service, parts, and sales teams. Interacted with customers on a daily basis. Providing technical support with the product line. Was involved in quoting repairs and tracking the follow through of those repairs. Worked frequently with the members of the service department to keep information flowing from dealership to the customer. Helped customer understand in easy terms issues found and scope of work being performed on their equipment. Helped customer's understand various cost break downs of repair work and resolve billing disputes. Helped explain warranty coverages. Sold extended warranty contracts. Sold preventative maintenance contracts. Sold machine attachments. Inspect all new machine's within 30 days after sale. Provide information on machine functionality and maintenance items to keep up on. Provided annual inspections on equipment.

Main focus of this position was the diagnoses and repair of John Deere and Hitachi Construction equipment. Ensuring quality repairs, that were completed in a safe and timely manner. Kept up on all associated training's and qualifications in order to maintain a high level of product knowledge on modern equipment's ever changing systems and technology offerings. Over 200 Deere course completions and certifications. This is a combination of online and classroom training's. Adhered to all MSHA and DOT standards. Kept service truck in professional condition by being largely responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the vehicle.

Maintained and repaired rental equipment. Traveled to various jobsite's and kept equipment up and running for rental customers. Most equipment was Volvo construction equipment and various manufactures of aerial equipment.

Started in the shop here as a shop technician and then shortly after moved to a service truck. Was responsible for the diagnosis and repair of Volvo Construction equipment and Hitachi Mining Equipment. Maintained Safe working habits and kept truck and tooling in compliance with MSHA standards.
