I started working for Helix Alliance as an AB and then upgraded my position to Mate on the vessel, as Mate my duties were to;

• Upheld the highest standards of maritime law compliance, promoting a culture of safety and professionalism among the crew.
• Evaluated crew performance regularly by setting clear objectives, providing constructive feedback, and identifying areas for professional growth.
• Conducted regular drills to maintain proficiency in essential skills such as firefighting, life-saving techniques, and damage control procedures.
• Safely navigate the vessel to various locations offshore and bring the boat back to port.

I started my maritime career at Dawn Services as an OS and quickly upgraded to AB. As an AB on a tugboat my duties included;

• Assisted in navigation tasks, contributing to the efficient operation of the ship''s journey.
• Maintaining the integrity of the vessel by chipping, buffing, and painting the equipment and hull.
• Participated actively in ongoing training programs to enhance professional skills and knowledge base continuously.
• Handled various types of ropes, cables, anchors promptly during diverse shipboard operations including towing and mooring.
