Job Experience

  • Implement established field surveying strategies to perform high-quality work for ALTA, Boundary, Topographic, Ariel and Construction surveys in a variety of conditions, temperatures and environments.
  • Utilized Leica and Trimble, manual and robotic total stations along with GPS equipment in conjunction with data collector to determine precise locations and measurements of points, elevations, areas, volumes and contours.
  • Highly mindful of safety and security procedures, use of equipment and materials properly.
  • Execute aerial data collection for point cloud production using a small Unmanned Aircraft System (sUAS) implementing orthophotography and drone photogrammetry.
  • Establish a control network on State Plane Coordinates via GPS static observations or geodetic surveying methods.
  • Stake ROWs, alignments, roads, curbs, utilities and structures for construction from engineering plans.
  • Propagate multi-dimensional survey control.
  • Initialize base readings for fixed position monitoring.
  • Keep detailed and accurate notes, records, and sketches to describe and certify work performed.
  • Trained, mentored and assigned work to subordinate crew members.
  • Complete daily data updates for review and implementation.
  • Effectively monitor and make minor adjustments to survey equipment to ensure accuracy.
  • Compile, organize and correct data with Leica Infinity and Open Roads Designer software.

  • Took active role in departmental meetings, discussing geospatial needs and project updates to proactively identify and resolve concerns.
