3D-Printed Hydration Headband 

• designed a wearable hydration system with two-sided mounted sports bottles and drinking tubes for hands free access
• Took lead on solid works modeling and drawings focusing on the fit of the headband and and user comfort
• Identified and reinforced a critical stress point at the center of the band by increasing thickness to prevent failure under full bottle weight
• 3D printed multiple prototypes in PLA and iteratively tested and adjusted socket dimensions, wall thickness, and fit to resolve stress points and improve usability
• Gained hands-on experience with design iteration and troubleshooting 3D printing challenges related to tolerance, fit, and structural performance
• Identified opportunities for future improvement, including material flexibility and advanced geometry optimization to reduce weight and improve comfort
