  • A day to day requires handling all accounts payable tasks for clients whom range from Sports athletes within the NBA to highly successful music artists.
  • On top of all AP duties; I prepare bank reconciliations, cashflow statements, trial balance breakdowns and book brokerage/investment statements.

Music Business Manager/Booking Agent

  • I have been acting as the business manager or booking agent for musicians as well as myself for a number of years (most notably Taylor Sparks who is a successful producer with hit records such as Kelsea Ballerini's 'Better Luck Next Time').
  • Such duties include communicating with clients as well as publishers and labels (by phone, email or zoom), setting up sessions, issuing invoices, inspection and handling of payment, collecting royalties, booking shows, marketing and long term bookkeeping for tax and budget purposes.
  • I set up an S-Corp and LLC for Taylor to divide his personal from business.
  • I created spreadsheets with the added utility of Notion to track cashflow and goals over the short and long term. Doing this enables musicians to visualize how the day to day business they're currently engaged in will impact their larger goals and likelihood of success.
  • In order for artists to best manage their time and achieve a higher level of productivity I set up for them to-do lists utilizing technological apps such as Todoist and Things 3 with an added integration of a Calendar. Myself and the artist can have shared lists within the app and this allows for every opportunity to be noted and acted upon as swiftly as possible.

  • As part of my work managing the bar I kept track of inventory levels and would order from my various reps as per stock dwindling
  • I managed staff of multiple employees, handling payroll and scheduling
  • The bar was also an art gallery/event space and thus I would also be in charge of scheduling exhibitions or acts, contacting featured artists and processing the sale of any works on site
  • I used multiple point of sale systems during my time and skills learned ranged from people to business management which would go on to serve me immeasurably in my future endeavors.
