  • Responsible for the performance of (7) supplier manufacturing locations in Michigan and Illinois.
  • Responsibilities include monitoring supplier performance metrics, auditing and verifying conformance to Ford performance standards, ensuring successful new product launches and engineering changes including approval of supplier PPAP submissions, and coaching and mentoring supplier personnel on Ford expectations, online systems, and processes.
  • Helped one supplier turn around more than (5) years of poor performance to Ford standards and regain Ford Q1 certification.
  • Supplier locations consistently meet or exceed Ford performance requirements due to effective partnerships with plant personnel in the office and on the manufacturing floor. Supplier relationships are built on mutual trust and respect coupled with a shared sense of purpose.
  • Travel required 2-3 days each week to supplier locations.

  • Responsible for all aspects of staffing (hiring, training and development, evaluations, succession planning, accountability) related to Quality personnel, which included multiple direct reports obtaining advancement opportunities along with multiple voluntary separations due to performance issues.
  • Responsible for overall strategic vision and practical daily execution of quality responsibilities in order to meet or exceed corporate quality KPI targets and customer-specific quality expectations at Southview plant. Consistently maintained OEM and Tier 1 Customer PPM under 10 throughout my tenure including 3 CRPPM for CY2022.
  • Successfully achieved ISO/TS 16949 and IATF 16949 certification each year with zero major non-conformances.
  • Served as subject matter expert and beta site for numerous corporate quality initiatives including multiple online QMS rollouts and numerous new YF IOS procedures and work instructions.
  • Prior to this role, I served in a variety of different plant and corporate positions in Quality, Operations, and Finance over a 32 year career with Prince Corporation, Johnson Controls, and Yanfeng (same company, different names due to changing ownership stakes) dating back to 1992.

  • Responsible for establishing non-conference schedule including spring break trip each year
  • Created a team culture rooted in strong character and integrity, fierce competitiveness, and care for each other. Team accomplishments were secondary to who we were as a team and how we competed together.
  • Overall career record: 284-216 over 23 seasons, including two MIAA co-champiohships in 2003 and 2013.
  • In 2003, Ended Kalamazoo's 241 match MIAA winning streak over 41 years by defeating the Hornets at Stowe Stadium 7-2.
  • Coached (3) All-Americans, (5) MIAA Most Valuable Players, (8) Lawrence Green Scholar Award Winners, and (14) Dr. Allen B. Stowe Sportsmanship Award Winners.
  • Recognized twice for the ITA National Team Sportsmanship Award. My proudest accomplishment as a coach is that in a league with seven teams, a Hope player was recognized by league coaches for outstanding sportsmanship more than once out of every two seasons over the course of 23 years.
