Fetal Fibronectin: Prepare, test, and release patient samples with the clinical significance being a means of preemptive measures regarding a patient preterm labor.
Radiometer, blood gas analysis: Prepare, test, and release patient samples analyzed for the amount of oxygen (O2), carbon dioxide (CO2), and the acidity of pH in the blood as well as concentrations of other parameters, like electrolytes, metabolites and co-oximetry.
Review patient samples ran through Sismax analyzers to ensure they are indicating accurate results regarding the count of patients’ red blood cells, white blood cells epithelial cells, cellular casts, and bacteria. As well as monitoring the chemistry of the urine provided.
Perform manual microscopy on samples that are difficult for analyzers to depict accurate microscopy results
Responsible for the release and cancellation of patient results.
Run multiple chemistry, immunoassay, and electrolyte testing (panel and singular) on serum, whole blood, urine spinal fluid, and body fluid through use of COBAS analyzers.
Familiar with Unity and Infinity software as it pertains to analyzer system masking and analyzing quality control.
Knowledgeable on Instrument Management software as it pertains to the analysis and manual releasing of problem samples.
