I am a compassionate professional who recently decided to switch from medicine to nursing due to the direct clinical care nurses provide to their patients. I am very hard-working and team oriented and would love to gain more hands on experience as a patient care tech to further my skills as a future nurse.

• Heart to Heart Hospice, I volunteer at the hospice center and their business office. I round on patients, help provide anything they may need to feel more comfortable. Be a friendly and caring person they can talk to. I check in visitors and help with any paperwork
• Child Life Volunteer, Cook Children's Medical Center, 09/2017, 2021, Help create a clean atmosphere by cleaning toys and the playroom, rounding on patients, sitting with patients who are alone, and providing family members with breaks by sitting/playing with the patient.
• Volunteer, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital, 07/2017, 05/2018, Secretarial duties on Rehab floor, aid nurses in pediatric clinic by filing, scanning, copying documents, and answering phone calls.

• Global Medical Mission Trip to Panama, 03/10/2017, 03/18/2017, I rounded on patients who entered the outdoor clinic, checked their vitals, scribed the doctors' notes and learned a lot of medical history taking and common diseases in South America.
• Taught English to elderly, Quality of Life program at church, 2016, 2017, This was a leadership volunteer opportunity where I worked alongside HEB ISD and taught an English class with students of various backgrounds, some recent immigrants, and some elderly.
• Early Childhood Development Teacher at church, 2013, 2018, Lead my own classroom of 15 students ages 4-5 with their parents. Taught them phonics, science, social skills, math. We held the importance of child-parent bonding and incorporated that into our curriculum. Held yearly science fairs, book fairs, and talent shows at the church.
