Summary
Over the last 27 years I have been able to explore and work in may fields of Horticulture and Design. My pursuit in both college education and work experience has always been in the knowledge and design of plants and flowers. My artistic outlet is to designa nd create landscape spaces and bringing floral design into weddings and events
Having the opportunity to work in many of the related fields has given my a well rounded knowledge of the industry. I have enjoyed working at garden centers, greenhouse, the famous Temple Square Gardens, and as a florist.
All of those jobs gave me the experience to have my own little business where I can have my own cliental for Horticulture consulting, landscape design, and floral design. It has been but challenging and rewarding to run my own operations and to consult with larger companies as well.

Owner and Operator of Petal Landscape and Floral Design since 1998. This company operates with multiple disciplines of Landscape design, Horticultural Consulting and cut floral design.
- Landscape design is focused on residential landscape design in the planning, installing and continued care of the plants. Usually projects are smaller scale in an existing landscape that needs revision or updating. But I have done some full scale new build projects. In those cases I am working along side other subcontractors on the project.
- Consulting on installed landscapes that need revision or are having plant health and placement issues. I meet with clients about their residence and consult on the issues with plant health or design concerns. I give them advisement, plant lists, and give a landscape plan. I offer servies of ordering and overseeing the installment of plants. Then I give a landscape care plan so they can keep their landscape healthy
- Consulting with Landscape Architects and Draftsmen, Professional Landscape companies for softscape advisement, plant list creation, ordering and install of plants.
- Floral design and installment for weddings and events. Meeting with clients to form a design plan, bidding out the jobs and creating and installing all Floral based design elements
- Christmas season wreath making classes. Custom wreath and fresh greens home decoration.
