This is a $4B + program awarded to Microsoft by AT&T. And Microsoft has hired me in consulting role. The objective of this program is to modernize and move over 7k+ software applications which are spread across 18 Data Centers to Microsoft Azure Cloud platform and utilizing digital technologies such as Microservices, Container, API Management, AI, Machine Learning, Cloud Based Bigdata systems such as snowflake & Azure synapse, Azure Cosmos DB, .NET Code, JAVA/JDK, node, Kafka, Angular etc. We have forked this program in Intake, platform, and delivery functions. In intake function we assess the application and do the sizing and categorization, such as if an application is developed in modern technologies and can be moved to Cloud directly then we categorize that app as Optimization candidate and if it should be re-architect then we categorize it as Modernization candidate, and it should be first modernizes to latest architecture / tech stack etc. and then it should be migrated to public cloud. Platform function where we manage subscriptions, funding & Program management, technical architecture at the platform level, reference architecture, review of architecture document prepared by delivery team architects. And Delivery function, which is responsible for actual implementation, delivery unit have been subdivide in Application Groups, application groups have been composed of 6/8 project / SCRUM teams and each application group is being led by a Sr. Application Architect and Sr. Project manager and each project/SCRUM team is led by an Architect and an Agile Project Manager. And entire delivery unit is being leady a Delivery unit Head and in role my, partnering with Delivery Unit head and helping him in day to execution and providing technology support along with my Architecture team.

• The Fist opportunity was to provide a structure to the for the software architecture practice for our client, and to ensure successful adaption of the architecture patterns & practices. Helped setup architecture wiki, application architecture design documentation structure and standards, culture for reference architecture, architecture review, brown bags sessions and many more.
• In the Role of Lead Application Group Architect, responsible for leading and supervising architecture function of a GSI/Delivery unit of over 300+ Software Development professionals.
• Responsible for hiring, grooming and mentoring application architects, Data Architects & DevOps Architects.
• Leading Application Architecture & design, publishing reference architectures, architecture patterns, providing technology leadership to team(s). Leading Architecture design & governance meeting with Executive leadership team.
• Published Pattern for microservices with Azure Kubernetes platform, which is being consumed over 900+ applications.

Digital Transformation & Cloud Migration.

In the capacity of EA driving digital transformation and leading various enterprise level initiatives. Partner with application architects and domain experts on building & publishing base line architecture, reference architecture, targeted architecture on enterprise architecture wiki and ensuring effective communication and adoption. Building SCRUM/Agile Teams, Technology adaption,governance & engineering process improvements. Driving key enterprise initiatives such as:

• Omni Channel Retail Platform- Provided technical Design & Architecture of cloud native & REST API /Micro-service based Omani Channel platform & providing ongoing technical leadership. THe Omani channel experience layer is providing seamless customer experience across Web, Mobile, Tablet Based POS, Vendor systems. Omani channel layer provides Order management (End to end), Product Contentment, caching etc.
• Cloud Migration-Partner with Technology Leaders, Business Leaders, Networking & Infrastructure teams, Product Management Team, Program Management Team in technical strategy ,planning & execution. Supporting planning such as People, Resources, Timeline and budget planing. Supervising execution by actively participating in Scrum Meetings, Product Increment Planning, Demo Meetings , Retro/Review Meetings etc. This is an Over $100M initiative. We are managing this program in SAFe(Scaled agile Framework).
• DevOp Practice-Help setup DevOp practice for Enterprise application group . Introduced Lean IX an enterprise Architecture tool and ServiceNow an ITSM tool for the organization.

As Part of the Product Design Team, provided technical design, and architecture of the cloud (Azure) version of the product, performed design reviews prepared of other architects. This product suite is being used by Kiewit and various clients of In Eight to manage multi-million-dollar ($200M+) construction projects. Also, responsible for planning including capacity/budget planning. Communicating project status, project risks with resolution plan, upcoming milestones, and recent releases to Product and engineering leadership. Also had the responsibility of hiring & grooming software developers, and managing team members to support their work, career growth, and their overall fulfillment. We developed this product based on technologies & tools such as Visual Studio 2017/2015, ASP.NET Core 2.0, VSTS (source code and CI/CD), Confluence, ASP.Net, MVC, Entity Framework 6.0, Web API (OData based), C# 6.0, .NET Framework 4.5.1, SQL Server 2017, Angular, SPA, OAuth 2.0, Azure, Microsoft Dynamic 365,Xamarin,and Hockey App.

This is a multi-million-dollar program ($40M+) to build the cloud based (Azure) platform for various Tax applications of Deloitte S.T.A.C(Strategic Tax Application Center).Provided platform strategy &Technology Roadmap , Technical design and architecture for the platform. Lead development of the platform services and apps. Helped technology adoption for the product group, and was responsible for managing technology vendors, evaluating technologies, reviewing/building POCs and preparing SOWs for vendors. We developed this platform on based on tools & technologies such as Visual Studio 2017,ASP.NET Core, Visual Studio 2015, Studio Core, VSTS(Source Control and CI/CD), Confluence, ASP.Net, MVC, HTML 5.0, Entity Framework 6.0, Web API 2.0, C# 6.0, .NET Framework 4.5.1, SQL Server 2017,AngularJS,Node,Neo4J, Cypher, SPA, SignalR, OAuth 2.0, and MS AZURE.

Lead various software development programs & provided the technical design for various Web applications & services and Apps for Dell Commerce Platform Services group of Dell Technologies Inc. Provided technical leadership and program management for a multi-million-dollar program for development of a multi-lingual content management system for Dell.com. The new system is helping Content Operation team save around 40% of the operation cost as compare to the old system. Technologies and tools used for various apps and services- Adobe- AEM6.2, Adobe DAM, Akamai, ASP. Net MVC 5.0, HTML 5.0, Entity Framework 6.0, REST API, C#, .NET framework 4.5.1, Angular, Node, Visual Studio 2015, SQL Server 2014, TFS, TeamCity, Octopus ,Microsoft FAST, SharePoint 2010, MS Azure, Hadoop and Elastic Search.

Lead design and development of a multi-channel (Print, Email, Insert Online and pURL (Personalized URL)), web based marketing & advertising product to address marketing needs of medium to Fortune 500 customers such as Med-co (Express Script), Mutual of Omaha, Nissan Motors,sprouts.com(the grocery chain)and JP Morgan & Chase. This product became the flagship product of the company by adding over $15M from software & support and over $25M for the print contract revenue per fiscal year for the company. Lead the development of the product from inception to version 3.0 of the product. Provided database design for various products in the product line and helped transition my team and other teams of the org unit from waterfall to agile/SCRUM. Developed many modules of the Product in various.NET technologies such as C#, asp.net MVC, Entity Framework and SQL Server. We used various Microsoft and other technologies and tools for the product such as C#, ASP.NET, Web API, MVC, HTML 5.0, WCF 4.0, Entity Framework, SQL Server 2012, SSIS, SSRS, Windows Services, TFS 2012, Visual Studio 2012, GMC-Print, Strong Mail Email, and AWS.

Lead development of Web-based Financial Risk management Application for FACT group of Charles Schwab. This was a fix-bid project with the budget over $5M.Performed system study of Charles Schwab's legacy Financial Risk management Application & provided the detailed proposal for the new application, including high-level technical design, resources requirement & Cost Estimation and helped build the offshore & onsite teams for this engagement from the ground up. And coded reporting module of the application in c#, ASP.NET and SQL Server. Technologies & tools utilised: .NET Framework 3.0/3.5, ASP.net, C#, WCF, MS SQL Server 2005, MS Project and Team Foundation Server.

Lead design and development of new version of GRE online Testing software system.And also,developed reporting module of the system in C# and ASP.NET. 

Lead design & development of web application for managing IRA & 401K feature of Capitalone.com.And utilized various technologies & tools such as - NET Framework 2.0/3.0, ASP.net, C#, WCF, JavaScript, HTML, MS SQL Server 2005, and MS Project.

Successfully lead  HP's online store integration with manufacturing applications .We utilized technologies such as .NET Framework 2.0, ASP.net, C#, Web Services, MS SQL Server 2005, MS BizTalk Server 2005 and MS Project.

Designed & Developed various application using many Microsoft and third-party tool & technologies(C#,ASP.NET,VB.NET, SQL Server, VB 6.0) for our clients TMAR Inc., Sun Chemicals(UK) and NEC (Singapore & Malaysia ).

Developed various Client-Server and Web Application in various Microsoft and no-Microsoft tools and technologies such as C ,C++, Sybase, VB6.0, SQL Server ,Oracle,HTML and Classic ASP.
