Summary

Being fearless, working hard and having a strong sense of justice has helped me become a successful investigator, writer and leader. As a senior reporter in the newsroom I many mentored younger writers and helped the newspaper transition to an online format. After 17 years of investigative work, I found a rewarding role leading the county's public health initiatives and coordinating services to those in need. Previously, I worked in government communications writing speeches and press releases. I'm a life-time learner and am looking for my next challenge.
