Many years of volunteering with the school district as well as being employed with the high and administration building in Colorado Springs, CO. Both positions were as a receptionist, administrative assistant. Greeting and assisting students, parents and staff. After moving to Denver, I continued to help in the elementary school library. Reading to students, aided in the checking out process, shelving and organizing the library space. I thoroughly enjoyed working in the kitchen and cooking classroom with Sur la Table. It was a busy, pleasurable experience. When Covid forced the temporary closure I continued volunteering at the school library once school was back in session.
