Perform inspections of various types of ambulatory healthcare facilities including Indian Health Services, Primary Care Offices, Federal Prison System, Student Health Centers, Community Health Centers, Office-based Surgery Centers, Health Plans, and both Medicare-Deemed and Non-Medicare-Deemed Surgery Centers for accreditation and Medicare approval. Surveys are comprehensive and include Governance, Policies and Procedures, Facility Compliance with Life Safety Code, Infection Control, Health Education, and Quality Improvement Activities.

Managed an internal medicine office with five full time physicians, two part time nurse practitioners, and eighteen support staff. Responsible for daily flow of the clinic serving a panel of over 20,000 patients including billing, coding, denials, meaningful use regulations, transitional care, and budgets. Voluntarily worked on several pilot programs including Lean Management and Call-In/Get-In to help reduce hospitalizations. Responsible for interviewing and hiring office personnel. Reduced headcount by 10% and reduced overtime to less than 1% by instituting new work flows. Successfully marketed new physicians resulting in meeting their panel in a shorter time period.

Supervised clinical staff and managed the Office of Family and Community Medicine. Maintained and wrote policies and procedures, proficiency examinations, purchasing management. Successfully implemented the new EPIC electronic medical record system and maintained Super-User status. Saved the department in excess of $30,000 annually by implementing new purchasing practices for immunizations and cost cutting for supplies. Implemented the CCIP program through Missouri Medicaid in order to earn the department another $1500 per month in income. Complied monthly reports used for quality control and reporting to the Dean of the Medical Group. Actively participated in the Clinical Advisory Committee, Clinical Champions Committee, Clinical Manager's Committee, Nursing Informatics Committee, and the AAAHC Accreditation Committee.
