Summary

As the Founder of the St. Francis Animal Stewards, I am passionate about animals and our roles as their Stewards, specially from a Christian and Catholic perspective. I love teaching people about how connecting to animals, we can open a window to the Divine because they are God's creation and they have so much to teach us. They can reach us in ways that others can't and speak to us in a language that is louder than words. Whether it be through Animal Assisted Activities in nature, through blogging or in-person dialogues, my vision is to get the message out that we are divinely appointed as Stewards of God's animals and creation, so we must honor them and their habitats by protecting them and being a voice for the voiceless.

  • St. Francis Animal Stewards is the organization I founded to to honor the Earth's creatures and teach people about our biblically appointed role as God's Stewards for the animals. We have a divine duty to honor the animals and preserve their habitats. As their Stewards, we must do everything in our power to be their voice and protect their rights. Animals have much to teach us. They are also a source of healing. Through the SFAS, I promote this vision.
  • Minister to the public on the important role of animals in the Bible and Christianity as well as in the various world religions and traditions.
  • Participate in Animal Assisted Activities and Animal Assisted Therapy so people can experience healing with animals.
  • Post and promote the vision of the St. Francis Animal Stewards through social media, events and in-person meetings.
  • Raise money for sick animals needing vet care.
  • Pray for sick or lost animals in the St. Francis Prayer Paws group.
  • Draw awareness to the plight of donkeys. Educate the public on the incredible smart creatures that they are and their special capability to heal in the area of anxiety, depression and autism.
