• Manage the Kinship and Post-Permanency Team of ten staff. Programs on the team include kinship support, Intensive Family Finding, Promoting Safe and Stable Families programming, and parent options counseling.

Accomplishments:

• Collaborate with community resource providers, agency case workers, and leading professionals in the field of adoption and kinship support.
• Successfully support high-needs kinship families to parent children placed in their homes, prevent placement disruptions and increase resiliency.
• Actively participate in multiple Colorado Department of Human Services committees, including the Kinship Alliance, Colorado Kinnected Kinship Navigation, and the Kinship rule writing group.
• Manage the Promoting Safe and Stable Families Grant, totaling $120,000 per fiscal year.
• Contributed to the development and subsequent Promising rating of the Colorado Kinnected Kinship Navigator Program, including participation in a randomized control trial.
• Implemented race equity work on the team.

• Developed the intensive family finding process including updating and implementing agency policy and procedures. Provided support to family engagement meeting facilitators and served as backup coverage for the Family Outreach Program supervisor.
• Managed the Post-Adoption Program.

Accomplishments:

• Created and managed the Family Finding Program.
• Supervised staff in the administration of Family Finding duties.
• Significantly increased relative notification, from 6 relatives notified in January 2013 to 54 relatives notified in January 2014.
• Completed Family Engagement Meeting Facilitator training.

• Provided ongoing assessment, support, crisis management, and counseling to post-adoption families.

Accomplishments:

• Assisted in the management of the PSSF grant.
• Facilitated parent support groups and trainings.
• Collaborated with community resource providers, agency caseworkers, and leading professionals in the field of adoption.
• Obtained and managed the Community Support Grant from the Adoption Exchange for three years.

• Ensured that the needs of children in the custody of Boulder County were met.
• Coordinated services for children in care, provided support to foster and pre-adoptive families, and offered in-home counseling and court testimony.

• Provided case management services to at-risk families referred from Child Protective Services, including crisis intervention, in-home counseling, and parent training.
• Trained in and provided short-term, solution-focused individual and family therapy.

• Provided ongoing case management to families involved in open child welfare cases.
• Provided case planning, in-home counseling, parent education, and court testimony.
