I provided context and information to the cast, crew, and donors regarding the play "Tasher Desh" by Rabindranath Thakur. This included Thakur's life and legacy, British colonialism in India, the Bengali Renaissance, the Brahmo Samaj, Hinduism, Bangla terms and pronunciations, unique English words in the text, and the context in which our adaptation utilized these concepts. This was for the new English adaptation, "Kingdom of Cards" by Dr. Chakrabarti and Dr. Spangler of SJSU.

I created slideshows, glossaries, essays, and the lobby display for the production. I answered any questions from the cast, crew, and donors to ensure a clear vision and understanding of the piece. I read many research materials over the course of nine months to further my own knowledge in preparation for the position, including Thakur's other works, historical documents, and research papers. I also sourced numerous images for the lobby display, all thoroughly researched and cited. At the same time I was the leading character in the show.

I was trained by dramaturgy professionals from San Jose State, the Denver Center of the Performing Arts, and San Diego State. I am qualified for this position for any topic regarding theatre, art, music, film, or historical displays.

Varied responsibilities as back of house staff including set building, lighting, electrical work, managing multi-media presentations, costume maintenance, janitorial tasks, and staff/client relations.
