Sydney Bianchin

Throughout my past experiences, there has been a strong emphasis on opportunities to work with children and individuals with developmental disabilities where I can make a positive impact. My past roles across hospital, community, and academic settings in addition to a long-term care facility provided a knowledgeable and unique perspective. With my pending graduation, I am seeking a full-time role to further progress my career in this particular field.

Transition Options for Postsecondary Services(TOPS) - Mentor

• Ed Coach: Provide one on one academic support in a college classroom. Assist with social skills, note-taking, classwork, and prompting to stay on task.
• Tutor: Provide support to multiple students in the TOPS academic center by completing homework, studying, and email etiquette.

The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute - Volunteer

• Guide patients and families to registration or other locations in the hospital.
• Assisted in cleaning patient rooms and provided snacks, drinks, and warm blankets to patients and families in the Hematology Transplant Clinic waiting room.

Delta Zeta Sorority - Alumni and Family Relations Chair

• Coordinate with alumni to provide programming or mentorship
• Plan and organize Founder’s Day and family events along with budgeting and communicating with third-party vendors and caterers
