Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center (January 2021-May 2021)

Completed the med-surge I clinical rotation on the TCS unit at Sunrise hospital. Worked alongside a registered nurse and clinical instructor each week to perform physical assessments, administer medication, perform nursing skills, assess vital signs, interpret lab work, etc. In addition to direct patient care, care plans were created weekly.

• Mental Health Nursing

Desert Springs Hospital (March-April 2021)

Conducted mental status assessments with patients in the psychiatric unit at Desert Springs Hospital. Due to the delicate nature of the assignment, assisted registered nurses with basic patient care only when permitted to.

• Pediatric Nursing

Sunrise Children's Hospital (August 2021-October 2021)

Provided care to the pediatric population in the PICU, SICU, and pediatric emergency room. Established how care of the pediatric patient differs from the adult patient.

• Labor and Delivery, NICU, Postpartum

Centennial Hills Hospital (October 2021-December 2021)

Completed rotations in postpartum, NICU, nursery, and labor and delivery. Attended multiple cesarean sections, assessed infant APGAR scores immediately after birth, cared for the critically ill infant including feeding and diapering, provided education to infants' families, etc.

Summerlin Hospital (January 2022-Present)

Currently caring for critically ill patients in ICU and IMC.

• Emergency Medicine

College of Southern Nevada/Medic West (May 2019-August 2019)

Completed multiple 12 hour shifts with Medic West, assisting a paramedic and EMT-A on an ambulance and at sites of injury/illness.

• Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (Exp. March 31, 2022)

EMT-B certification through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians obtained February 2020.

• Basic Life Support (Recommended renewal: May 2022)

BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
