For this job I got hired for the summer when I was back from college. My duties for this job included creating the schedule blocking for the different programs of swim lessons throughout the duration of the summer (April-August), building these classes for our website through the coding website Fusion, keeping our website up to date and pleasing to look at, training swim instructors, handling new hire paperwork and on-boarding on to our team, scheduling lifeguards, handling and double checking logged employee hours for each pay period, presenting to the board of directors about changing prices as compared to competitors and inflation to receive the most profit, as well as managing the pool at the same time.

• Planned classes covering different ages and skill levels to prepare students for basic and advanced swimming needs.
• Assisted in setting up pool deck, cleaning up public areas and closing pool in unsafe conditions.
• Used CPR skills to assist rescued individuals until arrival of emergency services.
• Saved distressed persons using rescue techniques and equipment.
• Checked water readings regularly to keep chemicals at safe levels and avoid potential illnesses among patrons.
• Provided valuable swim instruction to patrons of various ages to build confidence, strength, and skills in positive learning environment.
• Completed basic maintenance and repairs to keep pools functioning properly.
• Took notes strengths and weaknesses of each child in class to track progress.

• Kept classrooms clean, neat and properly sanitized for student health and classroom efficiency.
• Worked with lead teacher to monitor class schedule and take attendance.
• Supported student learning objectives through personalized and small group assistance.

• Reviewed lesson material with students individually or in small groups.
• Assessed student assignments to check quality and completeness before submission for grading.
• Recorded grades for coursework and tests in online reporting system.
