Sydney Meigs

I am currently the Hygiene Department Team Leader. Along with my dental hygiene duties, I communicate any concerns or suggestions the hygiene team may have with the other departments. I offer solutions, communicate upcoming events or changes, and recommend ideas to help the practice reach its' goals. I have used both Dentrix and, currently, Open Dental software at this office.

My experience here introduced me to EagleSoft dental software, and I enjoyed the patient-focused practice values.

Working here helped me hone my time-management skills while working both single and double hygiene on different days. Implementing new protocols and adapting to change are important skills that I had the opportunity to focus on as well.

This position was a great introduction to the dental field. I worked with two different doctors, familiarized myself with recall systems, and learned how to use Dentrix and Dexis.
