As an Intake Specialist I serve as the first point of contact for individuals seeking services due a surgery need. This role is responsible for gathering initial client information, following HIPPA, verifying insurance , assessing eligibility, conducting preliminary needs assessments, and facilitating appropriate referrals for scheduling . As a intake specialist I act as a liaison between patients, surgical teams, and administrative staff to facilitate high-quality, timely care while ensuring all interactions are handled with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency while maintaining a caseload upwards of 100.

As an Early Childhood substitute I provided support in early learning classrooms when regular staff are absent. This role involves assisting with classroom management, implementing lesson plans, engaging children in developmentally appropriate activities, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Substitutes play a vital role in maintaining continuity of care and learning for young children. I used gentle, positive guidance to support children’s behavior and emotional needs on a daily basis.
