We were assured throughout training that our pay would be a promised rate and that our schedule would be dependant on our ranking throughout training. Although the position stated a Monday-Friday, 6am - 8pm hourly span, when training ended, a random draw was performed with all trainees in an equal pool and my schedule was on a nightly basis with weekends required. This completely interrupted my time with my family, but I was willing to accommodate. After our actual pay scale was released, with much remorse, I submitted my withdrawal from the position.

As a server and bartender for several years throughout my life, I learned so many skills that I am so thankful for. Being able to interact with several different types of people, and satisfying their needs on a daily basis is something that helped me build a base for career opportunities to come. Dealing with cash, credit card payments, multiple computer programs, constant changes in my work environment, multiple varieties of staff, managers, and guests has taught me how to adapt to daily, even hourly, changes in a workplace. One thing I loved the most about waiting tables, aside from interacting with people on a daily basis, was exceeding sales expectations and pushing myself to beat the quotas set by managerial staff.
When I was presented with the chance to become a lead trainer, I was thrilled to be the direct assistant to the management team. Skills Used: Working in the photography industry, from my experience, means that you have to be prepared for anything, and ready to get control of all situations in order to snap the perfect photo. Everyone loves a good picture of themselves, so ensuring that the final product satisfies customers is always most important, and being an overall friendly, helpful, knowledgeable employee is almost a guaranteed approach at making sure that happens. I think that in a position such as this one, my versatility was really displayed. I pick things up very easily, and enjoy working on projects and keeping busy.
