I held two positions as a painter at Deer Valley.
First position: The "Final-Final" crew would do the last walk through of the houses and fix any mistake even small ones. You had to have an eye for perfection.
Second position: The "big roller" crew would paint all large walls in the houses. In this position I learn the definition of hard work under any circumstances. I also needed to find creative ways of communication with my fellow crew since they knew very little English.
As a waitress I learned very important people skills, how to handle high-pressure situations with composure, while maintaining excellent service standards even during busy shifts.
