Conducted seine netting and identified fish species in restored and unrestored estuarine wetlands in Loleta, California
After collecting field data, the analysis included calculating Shannon-Weiner Index values using standardized data between both sites and performing t-tests for significance
All data entry and analysis was performed in Excel, and a report on the data results was provided to both CDFW and Wiyot Tribal Fisheries
The paper “A Comparison of The Fish Assemblage of Restored and Unrestored Estuarine Wetlands in Ocean Ranch and Cannibal Island of Humboldt County, California.” is pending publication.
